Player career

During the period 1988 -1992 he has fulfilled his youth career in NK Rijeka and he was participant on strong international tournaments (1988, Brescia,1st place) and with the Rijeka student selection he gained gold medal in 1996 and 1997 at a big European student tournament in Paris (France). During the senior career he has played for clubs on the level of 3rd and 2nd division of Croatia, the Netherlands and Belgium. His career as a football player finished in the amateur team of PSV Eindhoven. In total he has played 711 matches.
